Shipping policy

Shipping schedule

We ship plants Monday through Wednesday so they aren't in transit over a weekend. Please allow up to 7 days of processing time. We ship within the United States only; we do not ship internationally.

Shipping speeds

A minimum of USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground is required. We do not ship plants with USPS Ground Advantage, as it keeps plants boxed too long. UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air is highly recommended for sensitive plants, especially Alocasia and Begonia.

Our Live Arrival Guarantee applies only to orders shipped UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air. Orders shipped with slower methods travel at the buyer's risk. See our Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee for full details.

Weather holds

We do not ship plants when temperatures are below 30°F or above 95°F, and we may delay any shipment when weather is unsafe for plants to travel. If your order is affected by a weather hold, we will contact you and ship when conditions are more suitable. If you choose to proceed with shipping after being notified of a weather-related risk, the Live Arrival Guarantee may not apply to losses caused by that risk.

Delivery

Please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout, check the weather in your area, and bring your package indoors as soon as possible after delivery. Packages left outside in extreme heat, freezing temperatures, or direct sunlight are not covered.

Shipping stress and claims

We pack every plant with care, just as we would want to receive it. Some shipping stress is normal: minor cosmetic damage, a torn or yellowing leaf, or temporary drooping are not covered. If you believe your plant arrived dead, record an uninterrupted unboxing video and email us at hazyfoxgardens@gmail.com within 2 hours of delivery.
